There is the famous scene in the iconic “Godfather II” where Hyman Roth, toasting Michael Corleone & other mob bosses says: “Gentlemen, we are bigger than U.S. Steel”.

The NFL is building its revenue and projects it will generate $25 Billion by 2027. Most estimates place legal cannabis revenue at $15 Billion in 2019, and $75 Billion by 2030. And the current legal market still only accounts for about 15% of all cannabis revenue. Black market sales estimates for last year are routinely placed at around $60-$70 Billion. And it is no secret that money currently spent in the Black Market will eventually, through legalization and education, make its way into the legal market place. No matter which figures we use, or which matrix we choose to apply, it may be fair to proclaim to our industry members:

“Ladies & Gentlemen, we are bigger than the NFL!”

From the February 6, 2020 Cannabis Investors Newsletter: Cannabis is now generating almost as much cash as the NFL…

The National Football League (NFL) plans to generate $25 billion in revenue by 2027. Well, folks, it has some competition in making money! There are projections out there that show the cannabis industry could be worth $75 billion by 2030, and even that may be too conservative of an estimate. And with cannabis sales reaching $15 billion in 2019 – a 48% increase from the year before – your timing to become an investor now is perfect.

Just think about it… The cannabis industry is expected to add 1.1 million new American jobs by 2025, the tax revenue will help build new schools and improve jobs, and it will open up a whole new world for patients needing medicine. On top of that, it could create an entirely new class of millionaires.

As our Executive Director says, “You can do well while doing good.” But the fact is, this industry moves fast – and federal legalization in the United States could be just weeks away. When cannabis becomes fully legal in the U.S., revenues are predicted to increase by a whopping 12-fold.
